Situated in the unique position of having it’s feet in Gunnerside Ghyll, totally detached and in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Debra Cottage abounds with character. Every room is a delight of bespoke joinery and high quality fittings. Built in 1793 and in the centre of Gunnerside Village, this cottage is an ideal base to explore and enjoy all the Yorkshire Dales has to offer. The sound of the river welcomes you as you step though the front door, but all is tranquil inside.

Luxury Romantic - Swaledale Shepherds Hut

We have loved creating this very special getaway for two here in beautiful Swaledale. Our shepherds hut is located in an idyllic private location with far reaching views of Swaledale. All the feelings you have as a child making dens and wanting to sleep out in them have been fulfilled ( be it a little more luxurious!). Whatever time of year, a cosy retreat awaits you with underfloor heating and a wood burning stove, luxury bedding, cosy sheepskins, kingsize bed. We don’t allow pets or smoking .

Or take a short stroll into Barnard Castle to discover its rich heritage and enjoy the warm hospitality of its many cafes, bars, and restaurants.

The Barn@Graham House

Situated in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, The Barn@Graham House has far reaching views right across Swaledale and is the perfect location for guests looking for a relaxing stay. Dogs are welcome . There is a private garden with direct access to a shared wooded area. The Barn@Graham House has been lovingly restored and converted into a unique self contained 1-bedroom holiday cottage where modern facilities combine with the property’s rural heritage. Easy access to several hiking trails.

A quaint, cosy cottage for two (Super King zip link or twin beds) in beautiful Arkengarthdale, the most northerly of The Yorkshire Dales, with large walk-in shower. There are stunning walks from the door, along Arkle Beck, through picturesque woods or onto open moorland. Secure cycle storage is available, the area is perfect for on and off-road cycling and we can advise guests on some great routes. A village pub, and a highly regarded hotel restaurant are a short walk away. Sorry, no pets.

Also home to Our Yorkshire Farm TV Series, The Yorkshire Shepherdess, Amanda Owen. Our 4 bedroomed 2 bathroom cottage sleeps up to 8 people and is home from home with a luxury feel. The log burner creates a cosy feel in the living room while the well equipped kitchen offers everything you need for your stay.

The Lake House

The detached Lake House is set in 11 acres. Ravensworth is an enchanting village with many of the houses dating from the 17th century. The village is defined by its green, and ancient ruined castle, only a few miles from the pretty towns of Richmond and Barnard Castle . A village pub and two wonderful farm shop cafes within walking distance. The Lake House has uninterrupted views of the lake and surrounding woodland. The Lake House can also be booked together with Willow Cottage.
