The Tower, Thornton Castle

Ancient Castle above the River Tweed

Mary Queen of Scot's chamber at Neidpath Castle is perhaps the most romantic place to stay in the Scottish Borders. Explore privately the whole castle and then retire to enjoy your suite rooms. The antique four poster bed, deep roll top bath and open fire evoke earlier times, but are truly comfortable and luxurious. An elegant table is set for breakfast. Cats Castle

Built in 1888, Cats Castle sits in two acres on the seaward side of the A814, just beyond the western edge of Dumbarton. The property has wonderful views down the Firth of Clyde. Cats Castle is close to Glasgow, Helensburgh, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. The castle comprises three reception rooms, all with working fireplaces, a family kitchen, pantry, and five bedrooms, including the turret bedroom on the top floor. Magical gothic 3 bedroom mini-castle.

The Clonmellon Lodge is an 18th c. gothic mini castle recently restored, newly refurbished bathrooms and kitchen, all in one floor, with easy access to the grounds of Killua Castle. The Lodge can fit 5 people comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The first one with an ( American) Queen size bed, and the second with a double size bed. There is an office with a daybed that can sleep an small adult comfortably, and it has a full bathroom next to it.

The Great Hall, Dollarbeg Castle

This 2 bedroom apartment is the beautifully converted former Great Hall of Dollarbeg Castle. Built in 1890, Dollarbeg Castle was the last gothic baronial style building of its type ever built. Beautifully restored in 2007 to the very highest standards, it was converted into 10 luxury properties, one of which is a conversion of the original "Great Hall" with its vaulted ceiling and majestic views across the formal grounds towards the Ochil Hills in the distance.

Drummond Tower / Castle

Victoria Drummond Tower was built as a Folly Tower in the victorian period in 1858 by William Drummond Delap as part of Monasterboice House & Demesne. The tower is regarded as a folly tower built in remembrance of his late mother. Recently restored into a small habitable dwelling and is now available for rental for selected months of the year. A very unique and enjoyable place to stay with a vast range of local & historical amenities at your disposal.

The Pavilion, Foulis Castle, Highland Scotland

The Pavilion is a Luxurious Self Catered Wing of Foulis Castle just out of Evanton near the ancient burgh of Dingwall. The Pavilion is positioned within beautiful landscaped gardens overlooking the Cromarty Firth. Foulis Castle is a 15-20 min walk away from the Storehouse of Foulis Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm).
