De balken en de nok is lekker in het zicht gebleven, wat een ruimtelijk effect geeft. Een stalraampje uit de boerderij waar Karin geboren is, is in de nok verwerkt. De oude gele klinkertjes uit die boerderij vormen het terras, samen met de plavuizen uit de kelder. Als surprise heeft manlief voor Karin een hart gemaakt in het terras! Het appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien, bevindt zich op de begane grond van onze woning en heeft een eigen entree. Voor de deur is gelegenheid om gratis een auto of motor te parkeren op ons eigen terrein. Ons huis is gelegen in het mooie Kleverpark op loopafstand van het Centrum van Haarlem en het Centraal Station. Strand, duinen en bos in de nabije omgeving, ideaal voor wandel- en fietstochten.
