Moroccan Oasis Nestled on the City Bowl Hillside

Perched on the Tamboerskloof hills overlooking the City Bowl, this humble, beautifully textured and colorful home offers a cool, tranquil escape from the bustle of the town below. Stepping under the huge lemon tree, past the little sun-drenched plunge pool and through the antique studded door, you'll feel as if you were just plucked from a Moroccan seaside village, complete with mosaic tiles, woven ceiling mats and raw stone walls. Both bedrooms and the entire living and kitchen space open separately through big doors to the outside areas, cooled by the shade of the trees. Here's your oasis!!! Guests have full access to the home. I live nearby and am always available should you need anything. This home is in a hip neighbourhood on the side of Signal Hill. Round the corner is one of the city's oldest delis, currently called The Blue Café. Stroll downhill to quickly reach a cluster of restaurants, bars, delis, and shopping centres. Uber is hands-down the easiest and cheapest way to get around. The home itself is quite far up a steep hill, so walking from the bus stop (especially with your shopping) can be testing. If you do have your own car, there’s space for a normal-sized car inside the garage area. Garbage collection - the truck comes to collect every Thursday. I’d ask that guests please roll the big bin out onto the street before 8am in the morning. Please do not put the bin out the night before.

The Level 3 Penthouse apartment is ideal for casual entertaining or just quiet R&R with 180-degree balcony views of the Clifton beaches and the 12 Apostles. Services and restaurants are located in the Camps Bay Mall, 2 min. by car and a 15 min. walk down to the Clifton beaches. See Other Details for amenities. Relax in this tranquil private ensuite room with a separate entrance. Perfect for visiting family or working in the area. This beautifully decorated room has a Queen XL bed with ample hanging space. A tea/coffee station & mini fridge stocked with milk & cereal for an in-room breakfast to start your day. You have a choice of a walk-in shower & an outside shower. Soap & lotion are provided. There is no TV at this time. But please bring your device as there is high-speed internet for streaming.
