Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. We are in a fantastic location on the shore of Loch Long and provides you with a base from which to explore. You can walk, run, cycle or hike the Rosneath peninsula. You can kayak, paddle board or even swim in Loch Long. We are a 20 minute drive from Helensburgh where there is a bustling sea front with plenty of choices to eat and shop. Another 10 minute drive gets you to Loch Lomond where you can hire kayaks and paddle boards or go for a cruise.

Open all year. Argyll Retreat is a cosy timber cabin located in the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs Natiomal Park. It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers and pets are very welcome and stay at no extra charge. There are many activities in the area for the outdoor enthusiast and Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains. The lodge is also a great place to relax. Cabin In Luss at Lochlomond

Great getaway cabin on the Banks of Loch Lomond, fantastic views of the loch and surrounding mountains. A great base for enjoying the many water sports available on the loch, hill walking or simply a relaxing break. We have recently changed the cabin to a self catering accommodation. It now compromises of a kitchen and separate seating area, fully glazed to enjoy the loch what ever her moods! New pictures will follow.
