On Strawberry Creek in Idyllwild's historic district, the Owl Pine Guest Cabin was built in 1922. It's the best of both worlds w/ plenty of nature (burbling creek, rock paths, trees, birds, mountain air, stars) + close to civilization (the property is near restaurants/shops). Native rock fireplace, hot tub, eclectic art, record collection/player, games, books, TV, Wifi, BBQ, fire pit hang deck. We have a chicken coop, happy to leave eggs at the cabin upon request. Our treetop cabin is the perfect getaway in the San Jacinto mountains. Located in a quiet neighborhood of Pine Cove, it is less than a 10 minute drive to Idyllwild. Have your morning coffee on the front deck at eye level with the tree tops or have lunch on our picnic table in the open forest under the large live oaks and pines. We pride ourselves in being very responsive hosts and always keep the place nice.
