Located in the country, you will enjoy the scenes of nature and cattle grazing in the pastures around the farmhouse. The Farmhouse is close to the Chattahoochee River, Lake Eufaula, private hunting properties and Dothan city limits. Just a few miles to Abby Creek boat landing, 45 minutes to Lake Eufaula, and 30 minutes to Dothan. Nearby Columbia, Headland & Abbeville (10-15 minutes).

Beasley Backwater Retreat on Lovely Lake Eufaula

The Beasley Backwater Retreat is located on beautiful Lake Eufaula, between the historic towns of Abbeville and Eufaula. The house, built as a vacation house by my grandparents in 1963, is pretty much vintage, with some more modern conveniences, such as microwave, dishwasher, HVAC, internet access, and a Keurig. Located on a peaceful area of the lake, with a private dock and nice neighbors, it's a great place to get away from town and create fond memories--it certainly has been for us! Enjoy!

A private drive leads to an automatic 20' wide secure coded gate. Site # 1 is a 40x62 cement/level site that can handle large campers/motorhomes with full hookups (electric-50/30amp, water, & sewer). The camping area is 1.3 acres fully fenced so pet owners can allow their pets to roam freely. Bring your ATV's as the back side of the property has almost 50 acres of ATV and walking trails. A spring fed private 1.5 acre stocked pond with a covered fishing dock is also located on the property.

Headland, AL better known as the “Gem of the Wiregrass” was rated one of the safest cities in AL in 2019 and is a designated Main Street community. The cottage is walking distance to the square where you will find soft music playing as you stroll the streets, picturesque oak trees, stylish boutiques and cuisine to fit any taste pallet. It is less than 10 miles to the Dothan Airport.
