The Lakeside River House

The cottage lies on the banks of Lake Rousseau. This is a very interesting lake. The lake is fed by the crystal clear waters of the Rainbow Springs system and the dark tannin stained waters of the Withlacoochee River. Back in the 1930's, the water shed was dammed up on its far western edge. The result was a creation of a 12 mile long lake with a river twisting through the center, all of which you will enjoy from your waters edge dock. Come and enjoy the Nature Coast right from the backyard.

Use our canoe and kayak to enjoy 22,000 acres of connecting lakes. Bring your bikes and enjoy easy access to 46 miles of a great bike trail. Inside, enjoy a spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated townhouse with all the conveniences of home. Porch and balcony give access to a Florida landscape of water, Cypress trees and assortment of wildlife.

Primary bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with walk in shower. Minutes from downtown Inverness, shopping, restaurants, boat launch, parks and the Withlacoochie walk ride trail. Perfect get way whether for a few days or a snowbird experience. Pet dog friendly, however we do request prior approval. No smoking or Vaping on the premises. No parties.

The Hernando Lake House

Relax our Lake House. The water touches the back yard and the lake is loaded with Bass and many other fish. Relax in the living room falling asleep for afternoon naps while gazing at the serenity of the water. The house is quiet and set up for some nice long weekends. The Gulf of Mexico is just 14 miles to Crystal River which has a nice local beach. Scalloping and Manatee watching and much more to do in Citrus county. Orlando and Disney are just a little over an hours drive.
