Log Home on 8 acres near Hershey attractions

This home is a warm and cozy retreat. It is close to many tourist attractions, but has a secluded country feeling. HersheyPark is 9 miles away. Our home is great for families, large groups, and business travelers. Fire pit and volleyball are fun activities on this 8 acre retreat! You will have full access to the house. We are on site in a private in-law suite in the lower level. We DO NOT share any space. We have our own private entrance. If you are interested in event space, send us a DM.

Log Cabin

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Need a nature reset regardless of the season? Enjoy a stay at a completely refurbished 1820’s log cabin nestled in the woods and rolling fields of a 30 acre homestead. The cabin showcases three bedrooms and gorgeous views, a large living and dining area, as well as full kitchen. Enjoy exploring the trails around the farm, greeting the resident horses and ponies, immersing yourself in the surrounding area of hiking trails and blue marsh lake.

Monroe Valley Guesthouse

Our house is located near the interstate and within easy reach of Hershey and numerous other attractions. Swatara State Park is just a 2 minute drive away. There is a hiking and biking trail just down the road. If you are kayaking you can put in or get out of the creek right into the yard. The hot tub, grille, and stocked kitchen are waiting after your days activities. Do not expect me to message you before your stay - you can be assured the place is ready for you! Also there is no TV.

The second floor has a private bedroom, loft bedroom, bathroom and a bonus children's room with 2 single beds.

Weddings and events for up to 50 ppl are allowed only with authorization. We also offer special event decorating / staging and catering. All are welcome in our cozy 1 Bedroom plus loft Cabin #3 along the Conewago Creek. Peaceful and relaxing, & the creek is just a step away and is great for splashing around in the summer to cool off. No smoking. Fully equipped kitchen & Washer and Dryer. Carport parking space. Pets are welcome. All pets must be disclosed prior to check in. We charge a $20 pet fee. Two pets maximum please.
