47 Aan De Breede is situated in the more quiet area of the popular holiday village of Malgas. The elevated house promises an endless and jaw-dropping view of the river. The abundance of bird- and wildlife in the area will be a delight for any nature lover. The river is swim friendly, offering a variety of activities, from kayaking, boating and skiing or just relaxing at your private jetty. Come and enjoy some family time or get together with special friends in this entertianment-friendly home.

Relax in a delightful country house, based on traditional Kapstyl architectural heritage, River Shell House oozes charm & simplicity for unfussed holidays and getaways in a beautiful riverine setting. A wood-fired KolKol hot tub on the deck, is perfect for relaxation after a hard day of doing nothing or fishing ;) The house is on the Duiwenhoks river, 10 km from the estuary mouth, on opposite side of river to the village of Vermaaklikheid, and sleeps 10 in spacious, uncluttered simplicity.

Step out from your front door onto the sand. The house is centrally situated on the main swimming beach halfway between the tranquil river mouth and quaint harbour. Come enjoy the fresh ocean air in a beach house that is to be enjoyed by family and friends, a perfect hideaway from city life. It is unashamedly a beach duplex with modern conveniences. Note steep internal stairs. A duplex offering 4 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. We can sleep 7 but the house is more comfortable for a smaller group.

Melk Houte Bosch Guest Farm The Farmhouse

The Farmhouse boasts an open plan, full kitchen, dining area, a cozy living room with air conditioning, free wi-fi, a fireplace, DSTV, a separate games room with table tennis & indoor braai area along with 3 spacious bedrooms that comfortably accommodate 6 people. There is also a splash pool that is filled with water straight from the river & due to all the tannins in the water, it has a brown colour. The Farmhouse is equipped with a gas stove & inverter, so loadshedding will not affect you.

This gorgeous riverside cottage offers rustic charm along with a newly built, more modern outside cottage. The main house sleeps 6 people & the new cottage 4 (all ensuite except for 1). Tranquil, yet filled with vibrancy & character, the main house features a large kitchen & lounge with stack-away doors that open onto a patio offering spectacular views & welcoming nature into your space. Situated right on the banks of the Breede River, it's the perfect setting for a peaceful river getaway!

The Old Oke Riverhouse

Come and stay in the first container home in Malgas! Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Rolling lawn and river access, use one of our stand up paddle boards or the Kayak and enjoy the river directly from our jetty. A brand new entertainment section that leads off the outside decking which has comfy chairs, a big braai and separate fire pit is also now available at The Old Oke Riverhouse along with a jetty which has padding to protect your boat. Breede River Cottage is only rented out a few times a year as it’s our special place and we want to ensure it remains a home from home, the place we can go to switch off from our busy city lives. Nestled in behind a small, picturesque olive grove a little further up the hill & offers beautiful views of the river & surrounding farmland. The riverfront is accessible from the cottages by taking a short stroll few hundred yards sloping down through the vines & olive orchards. 2 Bedrooms, bathroom, open plan kitchen,lounge and dining area. Waterryk is Perfect for nature lovers, spring water flows throughout the house, cows in the pastures and roosters to wake you up. Situated a short 6km from town, it is an easy ride to the beach, or into town, but far enough to still feel relaxed.
