Bronze Grove Farm - River Indlu

At Bronze Grove Farm and Chalets we encourage you to wonder around and absorb the natural earthy pleasures of farm life. The farm is situated at the foothills of the Langeberg Mountain Range and incorporates part of the famous Tradouw Pass and is 3 kms from the quaint little village of Barrydale. We are a working farm concentrating on olives. We hand harvest and produce extra virgin cold pressed olive oil and bottled olives. We have introduced zebra and various antelope that roam freely.

Come and stay in the first container home in Malgas! Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Rolling lawn and river access, use one of our stand up paddle boards or the Kayak and enjoy the river directly from our jetty. A brand new entertainment section that leads off the outside decking which has comfy chairs, a big braai and separate fire pit is also now available at The Old Oke Riverhouse along with a jetty which has padding to protect your boat. Fishermen, kiteboarders, and outdoor enthusiasts visit this area for a varity of activities. In the winter, this is a peaceful retreat ideal for whale watching, walking, and enjoying the surrounding natural beauty. Spasie on Breede restaurant and bar is a short walk from the Suite and offers an excellent menu and stunning sunset river views.

"ROOIKOP" A HOUSE ON THE BREEDE RIVER ESTUARY

A house on the estuary of a VERY BIG river ie - Lower Breede river - about 15km from the sea, the house is set back about about 15m from the river . It is completely off the grid , ie only solar power and rainwater. It might not suit city dwellers who need every gadget and convenience but its heaven for the hardier ones Please bring bedding and towels . The are pillows and various duvet inners but we don't have a washing machine so we cannot supply linen

Stone Cottage is a beautifully appointed original stone cottage situated on Long Thin Farm. Nestled in behind a small, picturesque olive grove a little further up the hill & offers beautiful views of the river & surrounding farmland. The riverfront is accessible from the cottages by taking a short stroll few hundred yards sloping down through the vines & olive orchards. 2 Bedrooms, bathroom, open plan kitchen,lounge and dining area. Our single floor house is on the river side, walking distance from the sea, close to the city center and art and culture. Our place is good for couples and families with kids. Very good fishing spot for cob, shad and grunter. Very good Mountain biking routes around.
