We are just a few minutes from the SIUE campus, Edwardsville HS, & I-270. Coffee/restaurants/shops/parks/trails just 2 min away.

Welcome to the most serene and immersive equine retreat in the area! We are so happy you decided to stay with us. We want you to feel relaxed and at home as you enjoy the equine activities as well as the cozy log cabin and all its features and amenities! This house was built in 1870, it is a stone structure and was used as a family farm home. It has been remodeled for its use today. It is historically correct, which includes antiques of the time. Post Civil War era, furniture including the beds of this period. Another interesting aspect, is that the floors are all original. Mattresses, blankets pillows, bedding and towels are all new. The wine cellar that we have added, made on location. I always leave some out for guests. No fee.

There are many great hiking opportunities within a short drive, however, once you get settled in you may not find a reason to leave.

Our cabin is located in "the ridge " area of Grafton and is a 10 minute drive to Grafton.

Westerfield Cottage is a cozy retreat just 20 miles from St. Louis and 7 miles from Scott AFB. This log cabin, in studio apartment style, has a small private bathroom, television & Roku, microwave, mini-fridge, and top notch amenities with multiple outdoor seating options. This unique and comfortable accommodation sleeps three in the king size bed and pull out sofa bed, all in one room.
