Nearby Ashton Lane is great for visiting during the day and evening for shopping, coffee, eating, drinking and catching a film at the local Grosvenor Cinema. Music and plays can also be found at Oran Mor and Cottiers theatre with various pubs hosting more informal music sessions.

The building itself is a part of Glasgow’s history,completed in 1845 and designed by one of Glasgow’s most celebrated architects, Alexander’Greek’Thompson and is part of Glasgow’s Heritage Trail.
