It is 1 mile from Plum Orchard Lake and about 20 minutes from the New River Gorge & ACE adventure resort. There is also larger shop on the property with even more convenience items, fresh eggs, lavender products, local maple syrup & honey. Enjoy an extended stay at Lavender Hill Roost, or just stop by for a night.

Stay at my home close to the National Park off the Thurmond park access! Enjoy the first floor of my house with a private entrance. A bird watcher's paradise! Our cozy 2 BR cabins are brand new, very clean, big front porches, great decor, fully furnished including a kitchen, fire pits, and 5 acres of campground space. Convenient to whitewater rafting, hiking, historical sites, national and state parks, great local restaurants and more!

Cute 1-BR stone cottage close to NRG

When visiting the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, stay at this quaint stone cottage less than a mile off of Route 19 in downtown Oak Hill, WV. Things to Note: This little cottage has skylights upstairs, so light floods into this space from sunrise to sundown. Also, the mattress is firm. Finally, the hot water is provided via a tankless hot water heater, which has been known to cause water temperature variability.

We are seconds off of route 19 and 5 minutes from Ace Adventure Resort, the New River Gorge Bridge or the Boy Scout Welcome Center. There is a fire pit to enjoy in the evening. We are located 40 minutes from Winterplace Ski Resort with easy access to route 19 and I77.

Five minutes from Fayetteville, the closest town to the New River Gorge National Park, and ten minutes to ACE Adventure resort.

We are minutes away from many of the major attractions in the area including: rafting companies (i.e. ACE and Adventures on the Gorge, and River Expeditions), hiking, shops, and restaurants. We are located within the city of Oak Hill so no crazy backroads or surprises : ) Relax on our back porch, around the firepit, or inside in the air conditioning after a great day of having fun!
