The Bunk House

This uniquely comfortable cabin is super cute and refreshingly FUN !!! With Vallecito Lake views and direct access off your large private deck, walking to the lake is as easy as "Lets Go" The large master bedroom is a perfect romantic retreat. If kids or extra family are in the mix, they will love the bunk house loft it will surely please with its 3 comfortable beds! (Please note that the loft has a low ceiling height.) Your family will enjoy lots of outdoor space on this extra large property!

Larkspur Cabin Vallecito CO-Family & Pet Friendly

The mountains are calling! The Larkspur cabin & bunkhouse are the perfect Vallecito escape. Located just north of Vallecito Reservoir. Cabin: 4 beds, 1.5 baths (5 guests). Bunkhouse: 1 bed & fold mattress (2 add’l). Marina is 3 miles away, trails less than a mile. This cabin is in a quiet neighborhood away from the hustle & bustle. Easy access to activities, a peaceful night’s rest, a book by the pellet stove or create new memories around the fire pit, enjoying s’mores with friends and family!

Red Fox Retreat : a charming homestead

Welcome to the Red Fox Retreat, a log cabin on 2 acres in a mountain “neighborhood” (with red fox). Beginning July 8, 2025, the cabin will include 4 bedrooms w/ queens and 3 full bathrooms, one with a shower/tub combo and the others just a shower. The cabin sleeps 6 in beds. The additional detached bedroom and bath sleeps 2 more (July 8, 2025 onward). Before July 8, the main cabin (a 3/2) is available. 🐶We love dogs but please select that you’re bringing (up to two) due to a $100 total fee.

Take it easy at this tranquil getaway in the Weminuche Wilderness. Just 18 miles from Durango at the north end of Lake Vallecito, this cozy A-Frame is sweet to wake up in with the amazing views of the tall pines & deer. Grimes Creek runs behind it during spring and early summer. The creek is great for digging up worms for fishing or collecting in your bucket! Gaze at the Milky Way and roast s’mores! Smaller room with private bathroom and entrance from the outside. Somewhat European style with two twin extra long beds pushed together to make a king or pull them apart if you don’t like each other that much. There’s a pavilion in the yard with bbq grills and nicely landscaped areas throughout. It’s across the street from the visitor center, post office , and movie theater. You can ride atvs to and from the property to access the alpine loop. Plenty of parking.
