When visiting the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, stay at this quaint stone cottage less than a mile off of Route 19 in downtown Oak Hill, WV. Things to Note: This little cottage has skylights upstairs, so light floods into this space from sunrise to sundown. Also, the mattress is firm. Finally, the hot water is provided via a tankless hot water heater, which has been known to cause water temperature variability.

If you're looking for that out of the way place to just relax, it's here. In twenty minutes you can be fishing Bluestone Lake or the Greenbrier River, taking in lunch or the neat shops in Hinton, or just enjoying Pipestem or Bluestone State Parks.
