The Old Bakery

Freshly renovated 2 bedroom apartment in central Hokitika. We have given what used to be an original bakery in Hokitika a new lease of life. Only a 5-10 minute walk to restaurants and the beach. Our self contained open plan cabin offers a relaxing escape, with comfy beds, a full kitchen and spacious bathroom. The Cabin is only a short walk away to a secluded beach where mussels can be gathered, or you may be lucky and find a piece of greenstone. Soak in the outdoor hot tub, especially if you have done the Paparoa Track (pick up/drop off can be arranged at a competitive price, please enquire.) Snuggle up in front of the log burner fire in Winter. Continental Breakfast is included.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! A super cute and cosy 1930s cottage. Situated literally a stones throw from the beautiful Hokitika river and popular cycle trail. Only a mere 3 minutes stroll to witness Sunset Point's stunning sunsets! Soak up the picturesque views of the Southern Alps, Mount Cook and the untamed Hokitika beach. The CBD is a short 2 minutes walk where you can immerse yourself in local cafes, restaurants, boutique shops, craft galleries, copper, gold, glass and pounamu studios.

Easy, flat walk to town approx. 1.5km away. Private parking.

This house sits opposite the Tasman Sea with stunning views over the ocean and south to New Zealand's highest peak - Mount Cook. The views are stunning and often with beautiful evening sunsets. It is a 5 minute drive to Greymouth and a 1 km to the start of the Point Elizabeth scenic bush walk. This is a great bush walk mainly sheltered with good native bush cover. The main bedroom has great sea views and an ensuite. Plenty of parking space is available behind the house.

Our "cool little" cabin is a very small, detached, cozy, private bedroom looking out towards the rugged Tasman Sea. You will enjoy your own private space, comfortable queen bed, beautiful sunsets, beach access, and the convenience of a 3 min beach walk to Hokitika town centre. Bathroom facilities are detached from cabin and shared with our other cabin guests. Our place is perfect for couples and solo adventurers.

Only a 4-5 minute drive to the local bars, restaurants, supermarkets and Westland Recreation Centre. The Wilderness Cycle/Walking Trail is minutes away and a 25 minute drive along the scenic Coast Road to the famous Pancake Rocks and Blowholes.
