Approx 6 ks south of town where there is a wide range of amenities . unit sleeps 1 to 4 people with a super king bed in 1 room. 2 single beds in 2nd . (bedrooms are interconnecting) small kitchen / living area. Bathroom , plus a storage room with a washing machine, drier .Off street under cover parking.Private entrance.

OCEANSIDE RETREAT

A beachfront studio unit sleeping 5 on the same large rural beachfront property as Penguins Retreat and Whitebait Cottage. The sleeping area of the large unit is divided into two so that the queen bed and the second area with another queen bed and single bed have visual privacy but the wall does not go to the ceiling We do not live on the property so this place suits independent travellers who have a car, wanting to spend time on a west coast beach. Only 3 minutes drive to Hokitika township.

Our self contained open plan cabin offers a relaxing escape, with comfy beds, a full kitchen and spacious bathroom. The Cabin is only a short walk away to a secluded beach where mussels can be gathered, or you may be lucky and find a piece of greenstone. Soak in the outdoor hot tub, especially if you have done the Paparoa Track (pick up/drop off can be arranged at a competitive price, please enquire.) Snuggle up in front of the log burner fire in Winter. Continental Breakfast is included.

The property is not securely fenced and has a small creek out the back. The secret is out...Iveagh Bay is where you need to be!
