Secluded off a private road this property sits on state park property allowing close access to hiking trails, picnic areas, beach and fishing holes on Cowan Lake. This cabin features 2 queen size beds with 1 full bath, fully stocked kitchen, 2 large entertaining areas with gas insert fireplace and 2 porches front and rear. The World Equestrian Center is less than 5 miles from cabin.

Your dream log cabin in the woods is here! Welcome to The Woodland Hideaway! A 4 Bedroom, 3.5 bath log cabin on 45.7 acres. The treehouse-cabins themselves stand on ten foot posts. As you climb the stairs onto the lovely 16 foot deck you enter into a rustic and elegant space all your own. The room offers a wet bar, sink, refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. The dual head shower adds a luxurious modern touch to compliment the handmade wooden furniture. The tree houses are 100 yards away from the main house. These all have Queen beds and perfect for two! Continental Breakfast included Mon-Fri 8-9am; Sat-Sun 9-10am

The Log Cabin in Mingo Valley

Relax and make yourself at home in our historic hand hewn pre 1820 log cabin. Enjoy your "little piece of paradise" in a private, secluded and wooded country property. The two story restored cabin has plenty of room for your family vacation with a full kitchen, living room, master bedroom, 1 1/2 baths and sleeps seven people. Enjoy the fresh country air while relaxing on one of the three porches, hiking the 23 acre woods, or taking the paddle boat across the two acre lake.

This historic structure was originally a 2-story log home built in 1813. The home was used as an Inn or tavern along the Old Federal Road leading from Columbus to Springfield. In 2020, the decision was made to disassemble the second floor of the original cabin and then reassemble it on a new foundation with walk-out basement. This rebuilt cabin overlooks Deer Creek and a 50 plus acre wetlands area. The property is 1 mile from I-70 and is only a 30-minute drive to Columbus, OH.
