This fully-furnished one-bedroom "garage apartment" is attached to our main home, but you will have your own private entrance! You can expect this to be your home-away-from-home with all the practicalities and necessities taken care of. No stairs are required to the ground-floor entrance except for two little ones in front of the door. Popular for shorter stays, but more than suitable for longer stays, with ample storage, a combo W/D, compact D/W, and dedicated HVAC system. Amazing location!

Ever thought it would be fun to experience a day at a real working Christmas Tree Farm? Be our guest at the bunkhouse, a beautiful 320 sq ft tiny house full of character. Remodeled from salvaged materials on the farm, this bunkhouse features a full kitchen, bathroom with roomy bedroom and living room. Relax on the porch or roast marshmallows by the firepit. You can take a stroll through the Christmas trees, by the pond and in the spring and summer, through our U-pick flower patch.

The Retreat is not just a "house", it's a destination that offers our guests the perfect spot to gather with their friends and family and have an incredible time without ever leaving home! When Jeff and I designed this house we wanted to create something unique, something that reflected how much we enjoyed life and spending time with our loved ones. We've made soo many special memories in our "fantasy home" and now that we're "empty nester's" we are honored to share it with you!

Rustic Cabin on a Working Farm in Durham

Come get away from it all—while conveniently close to everything—at Laurel Branch Gardens, a 12-acre farm that uses organic growing practices. About 100 yards from the farm house, the cabin is a renovated tobacco barn with a sleeping loft, full kitchen, bathroom (with a shower and composting toilet), and living area. Meet the pigs and chickens. Lay in the hammock. Listen to bird calls. During June and July u-pick blueberries will be available for harvest for $3.50/lbs.
