With Lindisfarne, Bamburgh, Alnwick and Berwick-upon-Tweed nearby there is plenty to keep everyone entertained. After a day of exploring, return to the cottage to relax and unwind in front of the wood burning stove. Secure storage of bikes and kayaks can be available on request.

Linnet Cottage is a pet friendly cottage situated on a small organic arable farm 10 minutes from Berwick-upon-Tweed. Linnet has great views out to open countryside. The garden is safe for pets and fully fenced. The cottage is a 15 minute drive to Cheswick Sands, one of the most stunning beaches in Northumberland. The cottage is the perfect base for exploring Alnwick, venturing to the Edinburgh Festival or visiting Holy Island. Our local pub is a 10 minute drive in Norham.

Situated in Spittal, this cosy, stone built cottage is perfectly placed to get easy access to both the town centre with historic Elizabethan walls, bars, restaurants and art galleries (30 min walk or short bus ride) and the beach (only a few minutes walk) or exploring Northumberland, the Cheviots, Holy Island and Scottish Border villages.

My place is close to the seafront, the beach, restaurants and dining. You’ll love my place because of the accessibility of being close to everything that you need on holiday. After a great day walking or playing on the beach followed by fish and chips, there is nothing better than snuggling up in front of the wood burning stove. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets).

This delightful, well equipped house on two floors is set back from the road in a quiet courtyard, with a parking space just outside the door. It is only a walk of 10 minutes to the delightful, sandy beach at Spittal with its fine promenade and just 10 minutes' walk to Berwick Old Bridge – the gateway to this fine historic town, with its many places of interest, fine restaurants and charming independent shops on Bridge Street. Clive’s Cottage

Escape to the peaceful countryside, surrounded by hills with a view of the sea! Clive’s Cottage is on the end of a terrace of three cottages on a working farm. Ideally located next to St Cuthbert’s Way and directly on the cycle route of the Sandstone’s Way- it is the gateway to some of Northumberland’s most spectacular and iconic scenery. The Cheviot Hills are a 25 minute drive away and the Holy Island of Lindisfarne can be seen from the garden.
