Beautiful 2 bedroom cottage in glorious Dorset

Nestled in the picturesque Dorset countryside, this charming Portland stone cottage offers a quintessential English retreat. Set within the grounds of a historic Old Rectory, the property is surrounded by rolling hills, lush meadows, and the tranquil River Frome, providing an idyllic spot for a holiday. It is all on one level,we are able to rent out the whole cottage also which creates an additional 2 bedrooms for extended family - we rarely rent this out to another party and is mostly empty.

It is next door to a quintessential "Chocolate Box" thatched cottage. You are on the edge of the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with good access to the sea & Jurassic Coast.

Willow Annexe

We welcome you to stay at our home and in the beautiful surroundings of West Dorset. We offer a lovely one bedroom (double bed) self catering annexe which has all the comforts that you'll need! It is well equipped and has fresh towels, bed linen, tea towels and everyday essentials. Relax and enjoy beautiful Cattistock. We have a beautiful village with a historic pub the Fox and Hounds and a village shop. August 26 update. We cannot offer the BBQ and fire pit until we are out of the heat wave

The Little House in Hooke

Little House is a charming 1-bedroom retreat located in the picturesque village of Hooke in beautiful West Dorset. This inviting cottage is perfect for a romantic getaway or a peaceful solo escape, accommodating up to 2 guests comfortably. The House contains a comfy super-king bed and bright sitting room with kitchen. Outside, the south-facing cottage has private access, shared driveway parking, and a private Little Garden which we try to keep in bloom with wildflowers throughout the summer.

Thatch Cottage is a three-bedroom, grade II listed former estate workers' dwelling constructed in the 1780s. The cottage is situated in the heart of the picturesque, and very rural, village of Powerstock. The village is located in the West Dorset area of outstanding natural beauty at the foot of the ancient Iron Age fort at Eggardon Hill. Conveniently, there are two delightful pubs: the Three Horseshoes Inn and The Marquis of Lorne only a short walk away, but not a village shop.
