Arbutus Cove Retreat offers sweeping ocean views and a restorative coastal escape. Featuring four fully contained, private suites, Hemlock, Cedar, Sitka & Heron, it's perfectly located between Powell River & Lund. Explore kayaking, mountain biking & climbing, fishing, hiking, or wander beaches, visit breweries & browse artisan markets. Then return to wellness and calm: soak in the hot tub, book the sauna (extra), or gather at the beach fire pit. A tranquil retreat to recharge and reconnect.

The Garden House

Our get-a-way is an oasis on a beautiful island, at the end of the road. We are very close to Fillongly Park with its beaches, views of nearby Hornby Island, and old growth trails along the creek. Our garden house is tucked behind the main house. It's surrounded by abundant landscape, woodland, a seasonal stream, and our horse pasture. The house and it's surroundings are private and peaceful. You may see the horses, a peacock, tree frogs and deer, but you won't see any traffic or crowds.

Youbou Lakehouse

Welcome to your lakefront oasis in Youbou, British Columbia. Designed as a place for friends and family to gather, the Youbou Lakehouse is a sanctuary where you can unwind and connect with the natural world. Enjoy private lake access, a stunning view, 2 outdoor fire pits, paddle boards, a gorgeous sauna, salt water hot tub, and a massive 85” TV with surround sound. Have fun, but no parties, and please choose another spot if you are unwilling to be considerate of our wonderful neighbors.

Bench 170

Not suitable for children or infants. Lots of concrete and sharp corners. Enjoy the entire upper floor of this unique West Coast Modern home, built in 2012, with use of front lawn. A delight for architecture enthusiasts, Bench 170 was a featured venue for the Sunshine Coast Art Crawl for 7 years. A public beach access beside the property leads to a rocky beach overlooking the Georgia Strait and stunning west-facing sunsets. Please review our Pet Policy and House Rules before booking.

Log Cabin with Sauna | Central Island Getaway

Spend your days chasing waterfalls, paddling lakes, hiking forest trails, kayaking the coast, combing beaches, golfing, biking, riding ATVs, exploring caves, savoring fresh seafood, skiing, and more. At night, relax in the sauna, by the fire, or on a deck under starry skies.

Madeira Park Beach House

Madeira Park Beach house is a seaside retreat with spectacular ocean views and sunsets from every room. This well laid out and spacious waterfront house, is perfect for a relaxing, sun drenched nature getaway. Walk/hike for hours, and enjoy swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking and exploring the beach right from the house. Hang out on the endless decks, both up high, and down by the water until sunset. Observe wildlife: eagles, sea otters, herons and sometimes whales and dolphins!

Oceanfront Home - 1bdr Suite is a separate space.

South facing, sheltered from most of the wind, walk-on oceanfront in the city! Large deck, Solarium, Hot-tub, Kayaks and stunning views (Brandon Islands, Newcastle Island Provincial Park, Birds, Seals, Otters, Boats, Fisheries Canada docks). Swim, Paddle board, Kayak, Beach comb, Picnic or just relax - beside the salt water and a patch of old forest. Nanaimo is centrally located, permitting day trips to Vancover, Victoria and even Tofino. Luke (myself) reside in the suite.

Helliwell Bluffs

Curved boat like getaway adjacent and overlooking Helliwell Park, it's in the grassy oak grove meadowlands with spectacular open southern views, beach below. Featured in handmade builders of the Pacific Northwest. Stone, cedar, stainless steel, driftwood and sod. The house is best as getaway for 2 with occasional guests in separate bedrooms. all amenities plus a fireplace, heated stone floors and outside bathtub. Watch the storms or the full moon from the bedroom.

Seaside Escape

Come relax and enjoy the scenic views and fresh sea air at this beautiful and updated home. This spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom property with ocean views is an ideal option for those seeking a comfortable and convenient accommodation . Guests can wake up to the sound of waves crashing and take in the stunning sunrise. In addition to the comfortable and open layout this home offers a fully equipped kitchen, wifi, a TV, a large deck and a half acre of gardens.

Step back in time with a stay at our newly renovated historic beachfront property on the Sunshine Coast. Grantham House was once a bustling community hub as the local post office and general store, and beginning in the 1920's, a favoured summer stop of the Union Steamships Company. This unique studio suite, named after the Lady Cecilia steamship that once docked here, offers a serene escape with breathtaking views of Keats Island and oceanfront access.
