Converted from a grade 2 listed Victorian railway station just a few minutes walk to Hornsea’s award winning beaches and historic town centre with a variety of shops,restaurants and other holiday activities. Whether you like walking,cycling,fishing or just chilling out on the beach then Hornsea has it all. A good base to explore all the other Yorkshire seaside towns and local countryside. We are also very dog friendly and (due to the size of the property) can take up to two, well behaved, dogs.

We are proud that our seaside cabin with a private sunny garden is one of the top rated homes on Airbnb! It’s a step away from the Transpennine Way, the beach, and Hornsea Mere. We welcome one small, well trained dog and two people. Our super-king bed can be split into a twin on request. There’s a lovely hot shower, smart TV, Wifi, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, and microwave. The bed, breakfast bar and comfy sofas all overlook the private garden which has bifolding doors onto the deck.

Sea views from all of the windows as far as the eyes can see. One mile from the centre of Hornsea, a beautiful seaside town, where you can access an array of restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and Hornsea Mere. One and a half miles to Hornsea Freeport. A perfect base for exploring East Coast towns; Bridlington and Scarborough etc.

The Pump House is nestled within the Ancient village of Pockthorpe in the beautiful countryside of East Yorkshire. It is a renovated 200 year old farm building which has been lovingly restored to retain its original features including a deep well with glass top (reinforced!) pulleys and metal work. The house is situated less than a minute’s walk from the historic market town’s train station and only a two-minute walk from the town centre.
