The property sits on a corner lot with access from both streets. The house has a front porch for lazy evening to catch some fresh air. You can pull right up underneath the carport for easy access to the back door for entry. The home offers a nice yard and fire pit. You are minutes from stores/ food.

The Shug Shack is a Illinois Central Railroad section house built in 1905. Loving restored to capture the feel of an old railroad depot it is on an ACTIVE P&L railroad route, very close to house PLEASE BE AWARE! Many of the original features and materials have been reused while being updated with modern upscale amenities. Well-stocked kitchen & gas fireplace. Has one master bedroom & one bath with two oversize leather chairs that make twin beds. Cozy with lots of charm, it feels like home!

This is a unique, unplugged experience for a romantic get-away. We don't have WiFi, and cell service is sparse. Prepare for an experience with your favorite person, with nature flourishing all around you. We insist our guests enjoy a 5 star experience, so if there's anything you'd like provided, ask, and we'll do everything we can.

What was originally a hay loft has been converted into a country chic barn apartment. We would love to host you and your friends and family (including actual kids and fur kids) on our property. Children love collecting eggs from the chicken coop and everyone loves a short hike to the creek. We are only an hour from Mammoth Cave National Park and an hour from Holiday World in Santa Claus Indiana. The local community has charming little shops, several restaurants, and The Beaver Dam amphitheater.
