Mooifontein Farm Cottage

Our Cottage is a beautiful rustic cottage on the very popular Midlands Meander Route. It is on a farm with lots of lovely open spaces and beautiful surrounding views. The cottage has a lovely warm outside shower and also a panoramic view . It is very comfortable and perfect for children and also is pet friendly for those who don't like to leave there pets at home. Our Cottage has a 1 km dirt road off the main R103,at times it can be quiet tough with a small car. Please check if you are worried

You can ride from the cottage and explore the surrounding forests which go from Lions river all the way to the Karkloof. We have fantastic restaurants right close by, La Lampara Caversham Mill and Piggley Wiggley is 5 min away. The cottages have comfortable luxury beds with cotton percale linen and large bath sheets.

There is no need to stress about load shedding as we are fully off the grid and have a gas geyser for hot water. We are 12km from Howick Close to piggly wiggly and the Mandela Capture site and a short drive to Midmar dam and Bosch Hoek Golf Course.
