This 160 Acres retreat, has a 30 acre spring fed lake all to yourself. This 160 Acre Property offers your own lake. Enjoy fishing, boating, swimming, campfires and hiking through beautiful hardwoods. Row boats, canoes and firewood are provided. Great area for ice fishing as there is many lakes close by. Location is approximately 50 miles from Marquette and 40 miles from Iron Mountain. The property has three buildings for you to use main Lodge that sleeps 20 , cabin that’s sleeps 6 and a sauna.

Grandma's House

This UP diamond in the rough is located in the old mining community of Nort' Lake; once a bustling and rustling proud community (Circa Late 1800's). Now, a quiet neighborhood ideal for bicyclist, hunters, fishing enthusiast and resting after countless adventures here in the beautiful Upper Peninsula. There are so many sites to see within miles of Grandma's House. Though this home was built in the late 1800s, you will immediately feel the warmth and comfort of a modern day living experience.

Fox Den: cozy up north cabin

Perched along the shores of picturesque Sawyer Lake, the Fox Den offers fishing, and water-sports friendly waters. A nature lovers delight, unique birds frequent the property. Evening campfires offer broad clear views of the Milky Way. This quaint property offers use of an on-site dock that can accommodate a pontoon or a boat. There is a boat launch at the adjacent park. Sawyer lake is known for excellent fishing and no watercraft restrictions. In colder seasons warm up by the wood stove.

Located near snowmobile , orv trails (no trailering necessary, ride to trails from house), Michigamme River, fishing, hunting, swimming, hiking trails and wildlife preserve. You will think of this 3 bedroom 2 bath house on the lake as your home away from home. Summer brings water sports, grilling and eating on the deck and enjoying sunsets over the lake. Winter months include accessing snowmobile trails from your front door, nearby downhill and cross country ski venues and snowshoeing. Curl up by a crackling fire at days end. Spring brings day trips to beautiful waterfalls. Fall brings hunting to mind. Plenty of wooded areas for bird and deer hunting.

Need to get away from the rat race for a while? Want to forget your worries in a spacious and serene space? Come and enjoy the beauty I grew up with on the Michigamme River in Michigan's gorgeous Upper Peninsula. Spend your time on the property reading a book and soaking in the view, or enjoy a short trip to a nearby lake for kayaking, fishing or boating. In the winter months, Republic is a hub for snowmobilers with easy access to trails leading in any direction.

This little house with starklink internet is a great starting point to explore the outdoors while staying connected. Nearby you'll find the Michigamme river (swim, kayak, and fish), the Iron Ore Heritage Trail, and other trails (walking, biking, sxs, and snowmobile) disc golf course, parks, great hunting, wildlife, and museums. A hardware store (premium gas), convince store, local bar (The Pine Grove), and diner (Summer Place) are great places to support in town.
