This comfy and nice One bedroom apartment is a great base for your travels up to the north of Iceland. We are located close to the sea in the town of Blönduós. The apartment comes with one queen size bed in the common area (living room) and two single beds in the bedroom. There is a private kitchen that is well equipped for you to make your own meals if you don't feel like going out for the evening. The apartment has private bathroom with shower as well a living room with TV and chairs.

This comfy and cosy studio apartment is a great base for your travels up to the north of Iceland. We are located close to the sea. The studio apartment comes with one king size bed in one bedroom. There is a private kitchen that is well equipped for you to make your own meals if you don't feel like going out for the evening. The apartment has private bathroom with shower as well a living room with TV and chairs. The famous Hvítserkur is less than an hour drive from Blönduós.

Laxás Cottage - peace and quite

Relax and enjoy the time with your family or as a couple at our cozy cottage. The place is peaceful, has a hot-tub and Wi-Fi. The closest town, Blönduós, is just 5 km away. There you can find B&S Restaurant which offers variety of delicious dishes, great place for lunch and dinner. The village also offers a public swimming pool and a small gym, grocery store, ATM, pharmacy, hospital, and museum. The house had renovations recently, new WC and new floors all around!

Rustic cottage by the sea

This is a rustic cottage located by the shore where the sounds of the waves will rock you to sleep. There is a kitchenette and a WC in the cottage and guests have access to a geothermal hot tub with scenic views over the fjord. The cottage can accommodate up to 5 adults. Baby cot available upon request. Please note that the cottage does not have a shower. Guests can use the shared showers in the service building that is located next to the hot tub (40 meters away).

Valey - Countryside Escape

Now open for bookings – stays from May 1st, 2026 Valey Countryside Escape Set in the peaceful Icelandic countryside, this high end Villa is surrounded by open fields, fresh air, and mountain views. Icelandic horses often graze just outside the house, creating a calm and authentic rural atmosphere. Despite the quiet setting, the property is only minutes from Hvammstangi with restaurants, cafés, and essential services nearby.

Seaside cottage & geothermal tub

This is a newly constructed wooden cottage located by the shore where the sounds of the waves will rock you to sleep. There is a kitchenette, WC/shower room in the cottage guests have access to a geothermal hot tub, with scenic views over the fjord. The cottage is heated with geothermal water from a nearby hot spring. The cottage can accommodate four adults in a bunk bed and double sofa bed.

Supreme Room

This comfortable superior bedroom is a great base for your travels up to the north of Iceland. We are located close to the sea of the town of Blönduós. There is of course free Wifi and free parking. The room has one double bed and private bathroom. There is a fridge in the room as well water kettle to heat water for tea. The famous Hvítserkur is less than an hour drive from Blönduós.

Stóra-Giljá cabin

Take a break and unwind in a cozy old cabin located next to a river and waterfall on the country side. Located close to the main road, great place to get a good night sleep while travelling around Iceland. You can take a walk by the river and look at the beautiful surroundings, canyons and waterfalls.

Hvammur 2 Guesthouse

Our guesthouse is simple, clean and reasonably priced. Located in the beautiful countryside of the valley Vatnsdalur which is also well known for it's Icealandic Saga from the Viking-age. We also offer short horse rides.

Gladheimar Cottages III

A quit little cottage close to the river Blanda in Blönduós village. The cottages vary from 32-45 m2 and are perfect for 4-5 people. Beautiful neighborhood and a public swimming pool is found 500 m away.
