One Bedroom Apartment

This comfy and nice One bedroom apartment is a great base for your travels up to the north of Iceland. We are located close to the sea in the town of Blönduós. The apartment comes with one queen size bed in the common area (living room) and two single beds in the bedroom. There is a private kitchen that is well equipped for you to make your own meals if you don't feel like going out for the evening. The apartment has private bathroom with shower as well a living room with TV and chairs.

Malarhorn - Double Room - Private Bathroom

Our beautiful Guesthouse is in Drangsnes and features in-room coffee/tea facilities and free Wi-Fi in Westfjords, Iceland. Our facilities are modern, clean and you can expect a friendly atmosphere in the mesmerizing surroundings of our area. The region possesses many nice trails for cross-country skiing(winter) or short hikes all year round. The beach is enticing and you can see remarkable bird life and seals. During winter there are excellent conditions for seeing the Northern Lights.

Studio Apartment - White House

This comfy and cosy studio apartment is a great base for your travels up to the north of Iceland. We are located close to the sea. The studio apartment comes with one king size bed in one bedroom. There is a private kitchen that is well equipped for you to make your own meals if you don't feel like going out for the evening. The apartment has private bathroom with shower as well a living room with TV and chairs. The famous Hvítserkur is less than an hour drive from Blönduós.

Meló- Quiet and relaxing

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. If you want to unwind in a quiet new place where you can dip into the hot tub or sit in the sauna, the right place is our newly renovated apartment. You can do your exercise in our yoga studio or walk to the local yoga studio, swimming pool or gym. Perfect for two people. In walking distance, you have restaurants (where you can buy breakfast, lunch or dinner), a grocery store, a museum, church, swimming pool, gym, and more.

Laxás Cottage - peace and quite

Relax and enjoy the time with your family or as a couple at our cozy cottage. The place is peaceful, has a hot-tub and Wi-Fi. The closest town, Blönduós, is just 5 km away. There you can find B&S Restaurant which offers variety of delicious dishes, great place for lunch and dinner. The village also offers a public swimming pool and a small gym, grocery store, ATM, pharmacy, hospital, and museum. The house had renovations recently, new WC and new floors all around!

Rustic cottage by the sea

This is a rustic cottage located by the shore where the sounds of the waves will rock you to sleep. There is a kitchenette and a WC in the cottage and guests have access to a geothermal hot tub with scenic views over the fjord. The cottage can accommodate up to 5 adults. Baby cot available upon request. Please note that the cottage does not have a shower. Guests can use the shared showers in the service building that is located next to the hot tub (40 meters away).

Luxury country cabin- hot/cold tubs-stunning view

Work in progress. Opening November 1, 2025 – Discover Valey, a secluded luxury retreat in the Icelandic countryside. Surrounded by wild nature and grazing horses, with a hot tub under the aurora, outdoor shower, and wine cooler. This is the childhood home of celebrated Icelandic painter Gunnlaugur Blöndal (1893–1962), whose evocative landscapes were inspired by these very views. Here, luxury, history, and untouched beauty blend for an unforgettable escape.

Cozy house in the village

The house has 3 bedrooms. 1st bedroom has a double bed and a bunk bed 2nd bedroom has two single beds 3rd bedroom has two single beds. There is also a small sofa bed in the common room if needed. Access to the terrace is through the bathroom. There are two bathrooms in the house, showers in both. The terrace has a hot tub, grill, table and chairs. Spacious living room and good kitchen. A washing machine and a dryer is available in the laundry room.

Seaside cottage & geothermal tub

This is a newly constructed wooden cottage located by the shore where the sounds of the waves will rock you to sleep. There is a kitchenette, WC/shower room in the cottage guests have access to a geothermal hot tub, with scenic views over the fjord. The cottage is heated with geothermal water from a nearby hot spring. The cottage can accommodate four adults in a bunk bed and double sofa bed.

Supreme Room

This comfortable superior bedroom is a great base for your travels up to the north of Iceland. We are located close to the sea of the town of Blönduós. There is of course free Wifi and free parking. The room has one double bed and private bathroom. There is a fridge in the room as well water kettle to heat water for tea. The famous Hvítserkur is less than an hour drive from Blönduós.

Stóra-Giljá cabin

Take a break and unwind in a cozy old cabin located next to a river and waterfall on the country side. Located close to the main road, great place to get a good night sleep while travelling around Iceland. You can take a walk by the river and look at the beautiful surroundings, canyons and waterfalls.

Double or twin room

Laugarbakki Guesthouase is a small and cozy guesthouse. We want our guests to experience a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The house has a beautiful living room with a garden view. In the garden is a hot tub and a sauna that guests have free access to.
