The annexe is set in the grounds of our family home, overlooking gardens and fields of the Kent countryside. It has parking and its own separate entrance, accessed via a key box. The space is light and airy with a king size bed, table, sofa, living area, kitchenette and en-suite. Ideal for a couples retreat or to use as a base to explore the area.

We have a free parking space in town if required. Goldcrest Lodge is a peaceful hideaway within secluded woods on the 140 acre historic estate of Wadhurst Castle. It is designed to blend in to its woodland setting, yet is bright and spacious with modern luxuries - perfect for a romantic break, a restful escape or for reconnecting with nature. It has a double bedroom (5' bed) with huge picture window, a central main room with sofa bed leading to a kitchen area and separate shower room beyond. Decking and private screened bath. Primrose Place is a self-contained, private annexe to our home with its own parking space. There is a good sized bedroom with a king sized bed, a large bathroom and a kitchen/lounge with its own enclosed patio. The sofa bed in the lounge provides an additional double bed. Primrose Place is straddled on the edge of two villages so it benefits from being a few minutes walk through the woods to the Greensand Way and surrounding countryside and also a paved walk to local shops and amenities.

Basic Nature Wild Camping by River Beult Yalding

Wild camping and fishing by the River Beult in Yalding, Kent. You rent the whole space, just under an acre with plenty of space for upto 4 or 5 tents. A mixture of more open areas and mature oak, ash and hazel trees. Facilities are basic, but it's a joy to be in nature. There's a composting toilet, with a proper seat, but bring your own loo paper. A firepit is included, but you need to bring your own wood and water. In season you can fish in the river - good for Chub and Barbel.
