Surveyors Cottage - a quiet retreat by the sea

Unwind at Surveyor’s Cottage, a quiet seaside hideaway where water, sky, and mountain views meet at your doorstep The cottage is modest, with all you need for a comfortable stay — two bedrooms, full kitchen, and a wood fire with plenty of firewood to keep you warm. There’s coffee to start the day, and space to sit, read, and watch the light dance across the water. This is a place to slow down. Walk straight to the beach, linger on the deck at sunset, or fall asleep to the rhythm of the waves.

Chambls Shack

Chambls Shack provides wanderers with a slow stay, overlooking the sandy beach at Verona Sands. Chambls is a genuine shack experience, complete with 1970’s kitchen, open fireplace and light shades. Plenty of wobbly bits and sloping floors, but we’re watertight, warm and a whole load of fun. Situated 1 hour from Hobart via Huon or Channel, Chambls welcomes travellers who want to truly relax and revisit the 70’s in luxe linens, open fire and a bottle of red. Or bring the kids and hit the beach.
