My space has accommodation for a couple, I can add a extra bed for 2 nights + (extra fee). kitchenette , ensuite, cont/breakfast. Bath robes. Free Wifi Franklin was established 1835, the only town on the Huon River. Close to all tourist attractions. Sit on the front balcony & watch the river flow, sipping complimentary port. Everything is provided, surrounded by restaurants. Cold continental breakfast provided. Heat/air-con, ensuite. TV, elect blankets, DVD, hairdryer, linen & towels.

Franklin Lodge, Huon Valley - Iris Room - King bed

You’ll be charmed by this heritage listed Federation Queen Anne style house. Franklin Lodge was constructed in 1850, 6 bedroom 2 story home features 4 rooms with ensuites, plus 2 other bedrooms & a 5th bathroom, with the features including open fire places, pressed tin ceilings, original doors, woodwork, ornate fireplaces & a large wood heater. It is facing the Huon River, nicked named "Botanical garden of Franklin" by the locals. We welcome tourists to share the 4 ensuites.

Cygnet Cabin

Cygnet Cabin is located on the waterside in the quiet township of Deep Bay, 10 minutes drive from the artisan Cygnet township. The quiet village area boasts a public jetty, boat ramp and incredible views to take in as well as friendly locals to meet and greet along the way. Located 1 hour from Hobart CBD, Salamanca Market and MONA. Note: Minimum 3 night stay. Weekends okay at higher nightly rate. Note private jetty belongs to neighbour not the cabin. Please use public jetty

Our cosy and humble cabin - an old pickers hut from the farm's previous life as an apple orchard - is located in the stunning Huon Valley, with views across the stunning Huon River to the snow capped mountains of the Southwest. You would be hard pressed to find a more peaceful outlook for your morning coffee or afternoon wine as you take in the open skies and the local wildlife. Just a few minutes from the charming village of Cygnet and its many great cafes and shops.
