Escape to a Sunny Apartment in a Quiet D.C. Suburb

Living Room amenities include a Smart TV and an Amazon Fire TV Stick. Fully equipped kitchen and cooking essentials. Lovely patio with seating area and herb garden. Comfortable bed and quality linens. Keurig coffee maker with coffee and tea provided. You have your own private entrance and patio area on an entire different side of the house so your experience can be as private as you like. The entire apartment which includes: washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen and patio area. Your host will be available for anything you need during your stay. My daughter/co-host, Bernadette, a young D.C. professional, can also answer any questions about the D.C. area, restaurants and other cool places to go. The apartment is in a quiet suburban neighborhood with easy access to the Washington area. It's a short walk to the FDA. Downtown Silver Spring is nearby, with its many restaurants, bars, Fillmore music venue, Ellsworth Dog Park, and a movie theater. The National Archives, University of Maryland College Park and UMUC are just few miles away. A Ride-On bus stop is located on the same block as the apartment. A Metro bus stop is 5 minute walk. Silver Spring Metro Station is about 4 miles away. There are a few parking garages at the Silver Spring Metro Station if you choose to drive there and then hop on the metro. Free parking on weekends and holidays at all Montgomery County Parking garages (some lots and street parking may require payment on Saturday). You could also Uber/Lyft to the metro station or all the way into the city (great option esp if you're splitting fare).

Beautiful and spacious 3 bedroom

Beautifully decorated and spacious home in a charming, Alexandria neighborhood near the King Street metro and the shops and restaurants of Old Town. Just a 16 minute drive to downtown Washington DC, with a chef's kitchen and a relaxing great room. The house is also just a 10 minute drive to the new MGM Casino or the Gaylord Resort and Convention Center at National Harbor. The "no parties in house" rule is strictly followed. If you want to have a party or an event, this is not the place for you.

This unique property offers its guests the best of both worlds: a single-family house with a large, fenced dog-friendly backyard and a multi-car driveway, within walking distance of the Silver Spring and Takoma Park Metro Stations as well as all the shops, restaurants, bars, and theaters of downtown Silver Spring, MD. Hop on the Metro to play in DC and come back to a comfortable home with a full kitchen, off-street parking, outdoor space, and neighbors who are the friendliest of people.

Have fun with our turntable and vintage vinyl. Hop on the Metro or jump on the highway, but you won't know they are there. Relax by hundreds of native plants, the backyard waterfall and fire pit. Located in Historic Hyattsville, the apartment was a recent addition to our historic craftsman bungalow. Within minutes from University of MD, Catholic University and the Washington DC border, the apartment is quiet, cozy and very sunny with a private entrance as well as French doors leading out to a private patio. Located in a safe, family-friendly neighborhood with tree-lined streets, within walking distance to restaurants, yoga studios, coffee shops and an organic coop.
