Krumsholar farmstay 2 bedroom apartment

The apartment is spacious and comfortable with everythink you might need for your stay. The apartment is located on a farm 7 km from Borgarnes and 80 km from Reykjavik. The farm is 1 km from road nr 1. The view from the apartment and the surrounding area is very beutyfull. We have horses, chickens and dogs on the farm. The horses are very friendly and love attention. This is a very good spot to view the northern lights from late august-april if the sky is clear we can usually see them.

Brand new comfortable and well-designed cabins. The sheltered hot outdoor shower, accessible from the bathroom, is a delightful experience in all weathers. They are both very private though it is just a stone’s throw away from the Ring Road. Excellent base for exploring the wonders of the South, for instance Gullfoss & Geysir, The Westmann Islands, the beautiful waterfalls along the south coast and The black beach in Vik.

The apartment is located in a unique early last century wooden house which was once called the palace of Hverfisgata. The cottage is on a small and quiet family run farm, 8 km to the town Egilsstaðir. These small houses are cozy and heated with geothermal energy, the cottages can be booked all year around. We provide linen, towels, tea and Coffee for no extra charge. The surrounding area consists of a river, trees, northern lights, beautiful nature and during the winter time you might even see some reindeers wandering around.

The Hill House is a great location for visiting South Iceland. From the house, there is a beautiful view, and the house is big and spacious. It has five good bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a big living room to get together or relax after a day out. The surroundings are peaceful, and there are many options for short hiking from the house. This house is the perfect place for big families or friends.

Kolsstaðir - Piece of Heaven

The cottage is designed in the old Icelandic country style, but with house heating, hot water, well equipped modern kitchen, dish washer and a wood burning stove. The ground floor is 35 (square m.) Upstairs there is a 20 square m. sleeping attic with one Queen Size bed.
