Cabin 1 - Unit 2 at Blue Mountain Rest

We are pet friendly but there are pooch fees and a pet policy. Please go to "additional" House Rules. Unit 2 is only one of 4 cabins on this property. We have other listings in case this one is not available. BM Rest in the center of the Adirondack Mts in NY State. We are open year round, spring, summer, winter & fall. This accommodation has a fully equipped kitchen , private bathroom, living room, private bedroom & outdoor fire pit. This accommodation sleeps 4, w/ Direct TV, HBO & Wifi.

Unique Rustic Adirondack Cabin

This is a unique rustic cabin on a private dirt road nestled on a mountain brook in the forest adjoining the Giant Mountain Wilderness Area. This small (200 sq ft + 80 sq ft sleeping loft), Adirondack style cabin was completely refurbished this past year using locally sourced woods and built by hand. Located two miles from downtown Keene Valley, and at 1800 feet, this is an ideal place for those who prefer the quiet forest, the peaceful sound of a mountain brook, and possibily seeing animals.

The Speculator Guest House is fully renovated to offer an elevated and thoughtful stay. Guests love the outdoor sauna, Sunday to Wednesday private chef brunch or dinner, espresso maker, fully stocked kitchen, and everything you need for a campfire under the string lights. Walk to the grocery store, restaurants, shops, or the sandy beach on Lake Pleasant (.6 miles). Each guest receives individualized local recommendations. We live in the area year round and love to share our favorite places.

Charming 2 Bedroom Modern 1880’s Farmhouse

A renovated 1880’s farmhouse with all the modern amenities yet keeping the charm. It is between Lake Placid (5 miles) and Saranac Lake (4.5 miles) in North Elba’s tiny hamlet of Ray Brook. It has a completely fenced in yard with lots of room to play and a large back deck to watch it all happen. *We allow 2 small or 1 medium well behaved, fully vaccinated, house trained dog.s. ***Guests must walk 420ft from the parking spot through the woods to reach the RV. There is a cart / sled for you to use. *In WINTER* The main trail will not be plowed. There are endless things to do in the area-fishing, skiing, hiking, multiple museums, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, kayaking and canoeing to start your getaway!
