During your stay enjoy free use of kayaks, paddle boat & board, swing and fire pit (with free firewood) at waters edge.

The Chipmunk Lodge

Chipmunk Lodge is one of 9 suites at The Totem Lodges in Indian River, MI. The Lodge is a studio cabin that includes a kitchenette for basic cooking. A refrigerator, microwave, stove and coffee pot with complementary coffee, creamer and sugar are available. Coffee cups, plates, bowls, glasses, pots & pans and silverware are provided for use. Make memories on Burt lake with the best view! This three bedroom, two bathroom gem has a bonus bunk room over the garage with two additional queen beds (extra cleaning fee applies if used). The south end of the lake is the most sandy and you’ll love the descent down to a deck platform that allows for all day lake enjoyment and a remarkable sunset. Enjoy the private setting with full amenities and nearby to Petoskey, Nubs Nob, Gaylord, Boyne Highland and the Mackinaw Bridge (25-30 mins).

Burt Lake Waterfront Hideaway

Enjoy beautiful lake front northern MI, close to many "Tip of the Mitt" towns, trails, activities while enjoying beautiful Burt Lake, including our sunsets. Our guest house is on the second floor of our detached garage. It is at the end of a quiet road and is located off I-75 (exit 310 and 313), 3 miles from town, but 30-40 minutes from many other towns. Kayaks, small grill, camp fires on windless nights. No pets. Close launches for boat launching. Space to park boat/trailer on land.
