A peaceful two bedroom cottage on the edge of the Trough of Bowland and Lune Valley with links to the Yorkshire Dales ( Hawes - 30mins) and Lake District (Windermere - 45 mins), and the popular town of Kirkby Lonsdale only a 20 minute drive away! Excellent walks and cycle routes in the area, a wealth of wildlife around, curious sheep that come to the fence and views looking over to Morecambe Bay and the Lakeland Fells. There are lots of fantastic eateries nearby. 20 mins from M6 Junction 34.

Tethera Nook is the South East wing of Hylands with wonderful views. Set over three floors, surrounded by beautiful gardens, it has been renovated with great care, to the highest standard of design, using quality materials and finishes. It is a place to rest and unwind, to wander and sit in a garden full of wildlife, to gaze at the ever-changing views. It is 12 minutes walk from Kendal town center's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub the Rifleman's Arms.

Bumble Cottage - Sedbergh (19 miles to Windermere)

Bumble Cottage is a recently renovated semi-detached barn conversion. The cottage is less than a 5 minute walk from the main street in Sedbergh village and the Yorkshire Dales Way is right outside the front door. It has been furnished to a high standard and is the ideal getaway. This chocolate box village has stunning hikes, bike rides, wild swimming, golf and fishing for the outdoor type. Ingleside Cottage is a 200 year old stone cottage, boasting a quirky layout and impressive split level garden area.  It is ideally situated to explore the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District, including the famous Ingleton Waterfall Trail and Ingleton Cave. Burton-in-Lonsdale is a compact village of 600 residents within a short walking distance from the community shop. The village pub has re-opened (Wed-Sun) but currently not serving food.
