It boasts full kitchen facilities, spa bath, lounge with wood burning fireplace, washing machine and private patio. Perfect for couples seeking a romantic getaway or base for activities in Southland. The Guest House has exclusive driveway access and parking, and is just a short walk from the main residence. During your stay, feel free to enjoy our surrounding grounds and gardens.

Bright two bedroom house, with large lounge and very sunny conservatory. Within 10 minutes walk to ILT Stadium and Velodrome, 5 minutes to local tavern and 10 minutes to another. Local shops with takeaways, chemist, restaurant within 10 minutes walk. Truck Museum 4 minutes drive and Motorcycle Mecca around 8 minutes drive. Queens Park, a paradise of cool climate gardens & walkways, is nearby. Bluff is only a 20 minute drive away. 1 1/2 -2 hours drive from Queenstown, Te Anau, Central Otago.

Whare manu, boutique cottage.

Whare manu is a private, self contained boutique cottage that is solar powered. Set back into native bush with views of the sea and beach, which is only a minutes stroll away. Watch the Tui's and Bellbirds feed on the sculpted bird feeder right on the deck. Designed for couples to relax, unwind and enjoy. No children please. If you would like your stay to include the 24 Dec please contact us, we can open for you, there are no checkouts on 25 Dec & a min 2 night stay. This is a unique place.

This charming cottage with stunning sea views is a perfect holiday home where you can stay warm in winter or enjoy outdoor summer living. There are two living areas with an open hallway leading onto a large decking area. The main bedroom captures the seaviews while the two other double bedrooms are bright and light. Warmth is guaranteed with double-glazed windows, good insulation, woodburner and two heat-pumps. There is also underfloor heating in some areas. Welcome to our home by the sea.

"Our home is situated on a private, landscaped lifestyle block near Riverton. It is close to the beautiful Waimatuku River Mouth (5 min). 15 min from Invercargill and 12 min to Riverton. It is so quiet all you can hear are the cows mooing, birds singing, and waves crashing in the distance. Visitors always comment on waking up to birdsong. The house has two toilets. It is fully insulated and very warm and fully modernised interior with all the country charm and character intact.
