Welcome to our working farm in the hills of Wisconsin’s Driftless region. This is a simple, rustic, and beautiful space designed for guests who value quiet, nature, and an authentic farm experience over luxury or polish. While the apartment is comfortable and thoughtfully set up, it is not a high-end or luxury Airbnb. You will notice the rhythms of farm life here—animals, people, and the occasional noise. If that sounds appealing, we think you’ll feel right at home. Great for runners/cyclists.

Funky, tidy 23 year old country cabin on 120 acres of farmland & woods in a private, quiet rural setting. It's cozy, 950 sq ft, built with stone and wood. Open concept with a two story fireplace, porch fireplace, firepit, and open loft for sleeping (1 bed), with spiral stairs, lots of windows, walnut floors and trim, oak beams and pine kitchen tops. Shower is big and open, with doors opening to a back deck for outdoor showering. Beautiful covered porch overlooking rolling meadows and woods.

Exclusive use of top 2 floors of home in a scenic location. Host will reside solely in basement apartment during your stay. Location is perfect as a base for exploration. 5 minutes from Governor Dodge State Park. 8 minutes to The House On The Rock. Also close to Taliesin, American Players Theater, Spring Green and Mineral Point. Or, you can just get away from it all by enjoying this scenic location at the end of a long private driveway. Brisbane House: Restored Historic Country House

Twice-awarded and the only house like it in Wisconsin! Built in 1868 by an abolitionist from South Carolina, this gem of a historic stone home has been lovingly restored. Brisbane is all about inclusivity, great comfort, and extraordinary style. Set on 18 wooded acres, you can hike the surrounding area, play croquet, build an outdoor fire. New kitchen and bath, and great wifi, too. Close to APT and Taliesin in Spring Green. Your stay contributes to this important restoration!

We are close to many area attractions including Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin, House on the Rock, American Players Theater, Wisconsin Dells, and much more! Activities include canoeing, kayaking, hunting, fishing, shopping in quaint villages, or just relaxing watching the river... Our cabin is easy to get to and close to area villages.
