Swing in the hammock on the covered porch while listening to bird's, ospreys, & an occasional bald eagle on the creek. Kayak to the Rappahannock rivah from the dock. Walk or take a bike ride into the town of Urbanna for shopping, dining, entertainment, museum's, marinas, farmers markets, bands on 2nd Saturdays & so much more. We are 1 mile from town center. Many surrounding towns offer wineries, events, etc.

Watch all the action on the water right out the front door with local waterman in and out of beautiful Carter's Creek to and from the Rappahannock River and Chesapeake Bay. There are marinas and The Tides Inn very close by. This property provides privacy and a short 10 minute drive to nearby restaurants and shops in Irvington, Kilmarnock, and White Stone.

You will enjoy the views of amazing wildlife, boaters, the beach, and breath-taking sunsets all while sitting on the back porch. Come down the long private drive along the pasture to the little cottage perched on the banks of the river, surrounded by large oak trees. Its a simple, cozy spot with lots of outdoor spaces for spreading out.
