Discovery Ridge Cottage-Romantic Peaceful Getaway

Port Townsend, Washington Welcome to our Romantic Country Getaway nestled on a treed 10 acre parcel just 12-15 minutes from Port Townsend or Port Hadlock. It is located centrally to the areas' amenities, breweries, wineries, and cideries. Our Cottage has been designed to be a cozy, warm, romantic space with custom woodworking, wood counters, in-floor heating and special touches to make your stay enjoyable. We have a seasonal garden with herbs and apples amongst a lovely outdoor private patio.

Detached Guest Suite

Cozy waterfront Tiny Home located on Whidbey Island overlooking Holmes Harbor in Freeland, WA. Completely self-contained, it is perfect for the solo traveler and suitable for a couple. The view from the queen sized bed is magical, and the partially covered deck shares the same view. The unit is complete with toaster oven, microwave, 2 burner induction stove, small refrigerator and bathroom with shower. This unit shares the property with another Tiny Home where the owner lives full time.

Experience healing and peace with the sound of gentle waves on Discovery Bay. Our cabin was built in 1939 by our grandfather who was an early businessman in Port Townsend. He wisely recognized for decades to come this would be a prized place of rest, enjoyed by 5 generations. Our two kayaks for beginners and new paddle board are available for rent. Explore the unbelievable beauty of the Olympic National Park just a few miles away featuring hiking to rainforests, glaciers, and mountain lakes.

Enjoy a separate entrance to your private studio through the shared garage. You'll stay in a great location, situated between the old historic mill town of Pt. Gamble and the City of Poulsbo, known as "Little Norway." Both towns are on Puget Sound with cute shops. Many people also come to enjoy the Mts. The island is also home to Camano Island State Park, which boasts 173 acres prime for camping, hiking and bird watching.
