The property, planted with olive trees, and other water self-sufficient plants offers various places for relaxation under the shade. Moreover, the half basketball court (official size) equipped with lights gives the perfect setting for enjoying sports during days and evenings. The house itself underwent a full renovation in 2018. Respect has been paid to original materials and traditional forms at the same time aiming to meet the most demanding needs in terms of comfort and elegance. Property Description The property is located in a flat area ideal for walking and biking to the beach. Arriving in front of the stone fence, you are welcomed by a gated drive with space for at least 4 cars. The surroundings of the drive is planted with various trees such as olive, lemon, pomegranate, almond and pistachio trees which are in season at various times of the year. The house with its’ stone-paved surroundings, is situated at the end of the drive and in the middle of the property, far enough from the nearest road to offer privacy and tranquility. In the apartment there are two bedrooms, one living room, one fully equipped kitchen, one bathroom and two small balconies. The kitchen is opposite the living area in an open space layout, that automatically lends itself to relaxing after a long day at the museums. The open plan kitchen is fully equipped and serves as a perfect breakfast and dining area. The living room is spacious, has a flat screen TV and leads to a small charming balcony, where you can enjoy an evening drink. The master bedroom is spacious and bright with large window openings. In the second bedroom there are two single beds. Its main colors are warm grey and white and the wooden elements make you feel like home. Both bedrooms and the living room have ACs, so there are 3 ACs in the apartment, which make your stay super comfortable. The apartment is in Koukaki, an up-and-coming enclave of Athens peppered with trendy restaurants, cafes, and nightlife spots. Central cultural attractions, like The Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum and the National Museum of Contemporary Art, are minutes away on foot. The apartment is only a 5 minute walk from the Syggrou-Fix subway and 7 mins walk from the Acropolis subway. The tram is 1 minute walk and the bus station "Olympiaki" 4 minutes walking distance, right at the Syggrou avenue. There are several buses that pass from this station with destinations into the centre of Athens or towards the southern coast of Athens. The area is very central so finding a taxi is really easy. You can always book a taxi by phone or internet. The "Beat" application available for mobile phones and tablets is recommended. The majority of car rental agencies are located on Syngrou avenue nearby, so picking up a car is super easy. You can park for free on the street in our neighbourhood, but I wouldn't suggest renting a car while you are here. The apartment is centrally located and you can go anywhere by foot. There is a super market near the apartment, only 40 meters away. There is also a pharmacy in the same building as well as a hairdressers.
