Secluded Woodland Retreat Snowdonia

Detached annex in secluded location at rear of main house but not overlooked. Plenty of room for two, but has accommodated up to four: small, fully equipped kitchen with fridge, combi microwave, air fryer and hotplate . Separate bathroom, with WC, washbasin & electric shower. Free wi-fi, LED TV, free view and DVD player. Good 4G mobile reception - wifi 36 mgbps. Adjacent to cycle track (route 82) linking Ogwen Valley and university city of Bangor. Plenty of things to do for the duration of your stay in Snowdonia, with something for everyone: ** We are only 10 minutes walk from 'ZIPWORLD' VELOCITY - Ride the longest zipwire in the Northern hemisphere above the spectacular Penrhyn Quarry lake and reach speeds of up to 85mph - it's the closest thing to sky-diving without jumping out of a plane! ** Climbing & Mountain Walking - Snowdon, The Carneddau, Cadair Idris, The Rhinogs, Capel Curig Forest walks - Waymarked paths Golf- courses in Bangor, Caernarfon, Harlech, Dolgellau Beach/Water sports Dry slope skiing at Llandudno Bird watching, RSPB reserves at Conwy & South Stack and Glaslyn Ospreys, near Porthmadog. This traditional quarrymans cottage is full of character, with lots of quirky features, well situated to make the most of what Snowdonia has to offer, 10 minutes stroll along Lon Las Ogwen cycle path to Zip World, Europes longest zipwire. Private sunny garden with table and chairs for alfresco dining. 10 minute woodland walk through to Bethesda High St with Tesco Express, Londis and a range of takeaways and pubs and amenities. Great walks from the doorstep up to the Ogwen valley and lakes beyond

Bwthyn Bedw, central yet tranquil

Central but tranquil our beautiful cottage is the ideal place to unwind. 30 acres of woodland. Ideally located to enable you to explore Snowdonia National Park, the North Wales coast and the beautiful Anglesey beaches. Situated 7 miles from the royal town of Caernarfon with it's majestic castle, 5 miles from Llanberis at the foot of Snowdon in the National Park. ZipWorld and its famous zip line 7 miles away. It’s an easy walk down into the village with its pretty marina and pubs. Sorry no pets.

Glan Rhyd -Tranquil Country Cottage

Glan Rhyd is a 200 year-old country cottage idyll, centrally situated with easy access to the whole of Anglesey. Secluded within its own tree-lined wildflower meadow alongside the River Alaw, it offers peace and tranquility second to none. The cottage is semi-detached with its own entrance, parking & facilities including modern kitchen, en suite bathroom, shower & Sky TV. The owner lives next door, and the resident (wild) owls live at the bottom of the meadow! Pets unfortunately not allowed.

The Bunkhouse is located in a quiet hamlet and has a separate entrance keeping it completely private. It overlooks a meadow and the river Ogwen. A stone building now renovated and equipped to provide comfortable accommodation for two people. Bunk beds - linen - en-suite -towels -TV - Tea & Coffee. A fridge is available in a nearby outhouse. Well placed to discover Snowdonia, nearby hills, mountains, cycle paths, walks and climbs, and also ZipWorld Velocity 2 which is only a short walk away.
