Skye Red Fox Retreat - stunning luxury glamping

The Red Fox Retreat is the ultimate luxury glamping getaway location. A twist on the more conventional ‘pod’, the cabin features a curved wood interior entered from an arched doorway in front of which is situated a perfectly appointed king sized bed with amazing views of the Trottenish Ridge and the croft (farmland) that surrounds the property. Deliciously off-grid, this wild bothy sits in open wilderness at the foot of Ben Geary, with long views down to the sea. Inside, colour and craft meet comfort: a king size bed, a dining and seating area, with a fully equipped kitchen and wood-burning stove. The spacious bathroom holds a deep tub to enjoy together and shower. Artwork, ceramics and finds from our travels surround you, with interesting books, candles, and a sense of playful, secluded luxury.

Failte means welcome in Gaelic and you will feel very welcome in my house. It is 5 minutes walk from a beautiful Beach. A stove in the kitchen provides a cosy atmosphere. The house is in a quiet location in a small village but just 15 minutes drive away from main town Stornoway with ferry terminal and shops and a 30 minutes from the AirPort.
