General Info Kandiliotika is a much-loved island home in a magical setting, whatever the season. The small house, which sleep 3 people, has been carefully restored and joined together and it is not only comfortable but stylishly and artistically furnished. The house sits on the side of Mount Neritos, completely surrounded by terraces of trees, and the stillness is only broken by goat bells that float on the air, cicadas that rattle, and the sea that murmurs just below. The position of the house offers dramatic views and breathtaking sunsets, and Kandiliotika is perfect for those looking for a hidden retreat for painting, writing, composing, yoga, snorkelling, swimming, reading, relaxation and renewal. Ithaca is a beautiful, rugged and untouched place which welcomes visitors with its simple pleasures. Details on the area surrounding the property/accommodation The island is dramatically beautiful, rugged, relatively undeveloped, green and mountainous with steep blue indented bays and charming little harbours. It’s a small workaday place, never a land of plenty, and even its gradual tourism has not really stemmed the de-population. But it has magnetism, a natural grace, and an energy-giving power which draws in those who need renewal, uplift and inspiration in their lives. Don’t miss a climb at sunset above Exoghi (Out of Earth) to the monastery on the summit, to witness the 360 degree view across the shipping-routes and islands of this archipelago. Ithaca is just a short boat ride from Cephalonia which is just as beautiful and well worth a visit. You will need a car. Nearest beach and and shopping area 3 minutes drive.

Unique Cottage

Our beautiful cottage is located in the main road from Argostóli to Poros, and only 20 minutes from Argostoli, the islands capital. Some of the highlights include the lovely/large patio and garden, private parking space, wood/brick oven, barbecue, treehouse, hammock and incredible view for your ultimate relaxation. The nearest beach is Lourdas beach (6-7 minutes by car). Everyone is welcome to stay at our home and we look forward to hearing from you! :) P.S. THERE ARE CATS IN THE GARDEN 🐈

Διαθέτει μεγάλη αυλή και κήπο.Nιώστε την ελευθερία να τα κάνετε όλα με τα πόδια καθώς σπίτι βρίσκεται στο κέντρο του Αστακού, 1 μόλις λεπτο από την αγορα,5 λεπτά από την παραλία και την πλαζ για μπάνιο. A spacious lovely studio fully equipped with its own entrance, kitchen, small seating area, bathroom and storage space. It can accommodate from 1 up to 4 people. On street level but very quiet. Close to the town centre, sea front, bars & cafes. Guests under 6 years old do not pay (do not include them in the total number of guests when booking). Βρίσκεται μόλις 400 μέτρα απο την κεντρική πλατεία του νησιού, σε σημείο που ειναι πολύ ήσυχα και με όμορφη θέα στο φυσικό λιμάνι της Ιθάκης. The apartment consists of two bedrooms, the kitchen and livingroom, a bathroom and a balcony. It is located only 400 meters away from the main square, in a quiet place with beautiful view of the Vathy bay.
