Located off the scenic highway, South 127, our newly renovated house atop Hillbilly Hill Trail, has everything you and up to 9 others would need in a guest home. Relax at the fire-pit in the private back yard with an uninhibited view of the sky, pasture, and private lake. Just pack a bag of clothes, your favorite food and drink, and come on over!

Twisted Sister's Retreat

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil peaceful cottage. If you truly want to get away from it all this is the home for you. Located 5 minutes from the famous Makanda board walk, surrounded by wonderful wineries, hiking trails galore, and the best local restaurants. The property sits on 5 acres with a beautiful pond that has a dock, chairs, umbrella, and a water fountain that sounds mesmerizing.Great place to meditate, do yoga, drink wine , sun bathe, swim, enjoy the sounds of mother nature.

Tiny House on the lake, also called cabin #4

The tiny house is on the edge of a 4 acre pond. Full mattress in a loft, stairs and a handrail to get up, it's a bit over 5 feet for headroom, please note, a loft bed is not for everyone. Cabin is in the woods with bugs, poison ivy, and animals. There are all sorts of creatures swimming in the pond below, along w/ fish and turtles. Fishing is catch and release. If you want to be in a kind of raw nature setting without landscaping, tom, your host, will guide you in this experience.

Hi, hello, welcome! We invite you to take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The kitchen is stocked, the hot tub is ready to go, and the local area boasts many wineries, state parks for hiking, and beautiful scenery. This spacious cabin features a comfortable King bed, 55” TV above a gas fireplace, and recently had a top to bottom renovation! The spacious back deck features a large hot tub just steps from the back door, hooks for the provided terry cloth robes, and a Weber grill.
