Slipper Rock Cabin

Called “Slipper Rock” in memory of Bessie Lakes, an elderly lady that lived on farm many years ago. She could be heard laughing while playing in the stream that runs by the cabin. She called the stream “Slipper Rock”. The newly built cabin sits on 15 acres. Numerous hiking trails & horseback riding trails. Some trails in Daniel Boone National Forest. Bring your own horses. Relax sitting on porch, by fire pit or on rocks by stream. Nothing prettier than the night sky. Hope to see you all soon.

We offer you a stay at our peaceful one bedroom one bathroom log cabin. Inside we have wifi, one King size bed. Microwave,refrigerator, coffee maker, full bathroom, Cold A/C. A newly renovated farmhouse is the perfect getaway for any large family or couple looking to slip away to a quiet family farm located in Jackson County, home of the Daniel Boone National Forest and 15 minutes away from Flat Lick Falls. We have 4 BR. The bathroom has a bathtub/shower combo. The living room has a couch, loveseat, recliner and smart tv. Free wifi. A full kitchen with all new appliances and a large dining area to accommodate a large family. Full size washer and dryer & central h&a.

The Cabin on Panther Branch

Drive down Kentucky scenic highway 89 South just 9 miles south of McKee. The cabin is newly built and set back in a secluded area with a small creek running right beside the cabin and a larger creek just across the road. The Cabin on Panther Branch is a perfect place to come fish and kayak on the creek. Bring your ATV’s, side by side or dirt bikes and enjoy miles and miles of riding in S-Tree Tower in the Daniel Boone National Forest. We don’t think you will be disappointed with your stay.

There is a large yard where you can feed the goats, enjoy the hot tub, or even end the day with a campfire. There is a walking trail around the property or you can drive approx. 35 minutes to Red River Gorge for an array of activities including kayaking, rock climbing, and hiking. So many memories are awaiting to be made at Second Wind Cottage.

Need some peaceful time away? Search no more, as you have found “Holler Hideaway”, a secluded peace of heaven nestled in the head of hollow in Breathitt County. A two bedroom cottage style home is surrounded by scenic woods and field land. There are 47 acres of land for hunting, hiking,a small pond for light fishing, a barn to bring your own horses if you wish or just enjoy the peace and quiet. It’s 40 miles from hiking, kayaking, and rock climbing at Natural bridge. and the Red River Gorge

The Bunkhouse, #3

A secluded cabin that sleeps 4 persons. There are 2 twin beds, & one full. A kitchenette, bathroom with a shower, microwave, & dorm size refrigerator. There is a small fire pit and a picnic table in front of the cabin with outstanding views of the mountains. Basic necessities are provided, linens and paper goods. There are dishes, but no cooking utensils. Wood is cut for the fire pit but you will need charcoal for the grill. ALL pets must be in a crate if left unattended in the cabin!

This cabin actually has an extra 64sqft and a extra twin bed in a second loft. Enjoy a hot cup of coffee with the Keurig or 12 cup coffee maker (Coffee not provided) and relax in the 6 person hottub admiring the beautiful night sky. This is the perfect place for a peaceful family getaway. WIFI is now available.

We’re about 15 miles from Red River Gorge, but it feels like you’ve got the whole place to yourself—no close neighbors, no traffic, just dark skies and starry nights.
