Our basecamp apartment is perfect for the outdoor enthusiast looking for an escape to the countryside. We are 1/2mile from the C&O Towpath and Potomac river and less than 2 miles from Harpers Ferry and the Appalachian Trail. Our location makes this perfect for couples, families or groups looking to hike, bike, or raft. Make use of our deck, grill, fire pit, and bike tools. We recently got internet. But no TV, and weak cell signal. The kitchenette has a hotplate, toaster oven, and coffee maker.

Explore and partake of all the activities on the river and surrounding area, just 1 mile from Shepherdstown. Fish, bike, kayak, tube, or just sit by the river and watch the birds and wild life. Read by the river or in the quiet comfort of the house, w/ some wine on us.

You will get to interact with many farm animals. We have a large playground, gas grille, and hammock on the property. Our place is close to Historic Harpers Ferry, Shepherdstown, Antietam, Wineries, Shenandoah and Potomac rivers, art and culture, restaurants and family-friendly activities are all within a short drive.

The comfortable Cabin accommodates five with all the amenities of home. Nearby attractions include: historic Harper’s Ferry, hiking on the Appalachian trail, rafting and tubing on the Shenandoah and Potomac, fine dining, breweries, Catoctin Creek Distillery, and seven wineries within three miles.

Close to Harper's Ferry Adventure Center, wineries, breweries, tubing, kayaking, hiking, farms. Full kitchen. Unplugged with the exception of Wi-Fi - no satellite or TV. There is cell signal. Rate includes 6% Virginia state tax and 7% Loudoun County hotel tax. 1 queen bed, 1 twin, and 1 floor mattress (pull out futon).

Enjoy 3 bedrooms with queen beds (plus one twin bed and additional twin mattresses without frames upon request) and 2 bathrooms. Make yourself at home in our indoor and outdoor gathering spaces. Grill out, enjoy the fire pit, tube the river, watch for deer, hike trails, play pool or read a good book in the hammock.
