It opens onto a large terrace, offering a lovely setting for alfresco dining or enjoying a wine under the Elm tree. We think it’s a perfect base for weekend getaways, executive stays or simply for holidaying in our beautiful region. It’s also a great place to rest your head when travelling up or down the Hume Highway between capital cities.

Away from the city hustle and bustle on a 10 acre property only 5 minutes drive to a small village with supermarket, post office, fuel station and cafe. 20 minutes to Lake Hume, Murray River and the large regional city of Albury Wodonga which offers great shopping, dining, cultural and sporting facilities. The hosts live on the property in the main house. we have a friendly Kelpie dog who might bark at your vehicle when you arrive but all he wants is a pat.

More than just a place to stay — Mittagong Talia is a secluded bush escape near Beechworth designed to help you switch off and settle in. Sleeps up to 6, though best suited to couples or small groups wanting privacy and time to enjoy it.
