The Stone Cottage Guest House, built in 1896 and recently restored is an ideal farm stay offering luxurious yet rustic self-catering accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We offer peace, tranquility, silence, stargazing, bird watching, walking, hiking, cycling, board games, reading and just relaxing. Wifi is available and TV on request. Although we are self-catering, we do offer a variety of home grown farm produce and meals which can be ordered in advance.

Farmers Cottage Bethulie

The beautiful decorated luxury farm style cottage is an open plan self catering unit complete with fire place, a fully equipped kitchen, queen size bed, bathroom with shower. A large stoep with breathtaking views, private garden and access to the pool at the main guesthouse, Karoo Pandok. It is also pet friendly, fully fenced but we do charge a fee of R75.00 extra per pet which is payable on arrival. Please discuss with your host.

The cottage consists of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, kitchen,lounge and stoep with outside lapa with braai and boma fireplace. Steele's house is a typical, rustic Rhodes house. The house is over 100 years old with rustic, old furnishings. Steele's house has a large garden with an excellent view of the mountains. The Bell River runs not far from the garden. The house has an AGA stove for warmth in winter.
