Hybrid power (solar/ municipal), WATER TANK ensuring alternative supply Set in the garden of a family home, this newly renovated cottage offers double glazed windows and insulation (adhering to European standards of climate control) & is within a minute's walking distance of the quaint 7th street of Melville, and near to universities/hospitals. We welcome all guests, but the cottage is not suited to late night wanderers as we are a quiet property; suited to professionals. Parking is shared.

"Under Syringa"; a beautiful space in which to stay while visiting and exploring Parktown North, Rosebank and surrounding suburbs. The cottage is separate and private from our home, has off-street parking, and own secure entrance. There is a very spacious bedroom with a queen size bed, en-suite with shower, and desk/work area. There is a seperate living area with a full kitchen, dining and lounge space. The bedroom and lounge areas open to a private courtyard under a glorious Syringa tree.

Beautiful ivy covered double storey cottage set in a charming,romantic garden. Very bright , well appointed, stylish and peaceful. The bedroom and work area are accessed by one flight of stairs to a comfortable and light filled loft -like space , while below is a spacious seating area and modern bathroom with a pebble mosaic rain shower . Both mezzanine and ground floor look out on to a tranquil, bird - filled garden. Only 1 block from bustling 4th avenue Parkhurst, yet extremely quiet.

The Poppyseed is a comfortable home from home in the beautiful suburb of Saxonwold. Solar panels and inverter minimises the effects of power outages. A spacious, open plan living area off the kitchen has large windows looking into the trees and spectacular Jacarandas in late October. Sitting on the patio allows for enjoying the beautiful Johanesburg sunsets. The spacious apartment is furnished and fitted for your comfort and convenience. The Johannesburg Zoo, home to 320 species, is only 1,6km away and worth a visit if you have some extra time or enjoy some Golf at the historic and beautiful Parkview Golf Course 1,5km away

Keep warm in this sunny first floor flat in leafy Hurlingham. We have a fully off-grid water supply! Our bright flat is suitable for executives working in Sandton or visitors to Sandton. Our property has filtered borehole water, is very secure, with alarm system, beams, electric fencing, CCTV and armed response. The unit is private and looks out onto the garden. Super fast fibre internet @ 20mb. Sandton is just a 5min Uber ride away. Secure parking for 1 vehicle.

This centrally located, self catering, free-standing, magical mountainside cottage, exudes charm and a spirit of adventure. Perched on the ridge, it looks out over Johannesburg's northern suburbs and is set in a spacious garden full of botanical delights, birds and butterflies. This is a quiet, peaceful area suitable for relaxing or working from. We have a solar and battery power backup and water reservoir, so have reserves of electricity and water.

Lilac Cottage in Melville

Our cottage, with backup Solar and Water Tanks to ensure our guests stay comfortable, is tucked away under a big sweet gum tree. Guarded by our two friendly Chow Chow dogs the cottage looks out on our pool and has its own outside patio and braai area. Inside the cottage is a cozy studio apartment with a kitchenette, study nook with WiFi, a cupboard and a comfortable double bed. The separate modern bathroom is stocked with fresh towels and soap.

Perfect contained room

We have recently installed solar panels and battery-backup to cope with the loadshedding as well as a large water storage tank for water outages Snug cozy contained room has a double bed, kitchenette with two gas plates and bathroom with a shower. It's not the biggest space (23,5 square metres) but has almost everything you need for a stay in one of Johannesburg's beautiful old tree-lined suburbs. The area is safe and close to the train.
